Book, film and games industries come together at Frankfurter Buchmesse

The shortlist for the Frankfurter Buchmesse Film Awards 2019 is announced. The awards ceremony will be held on Saturday, 19 October, at the Frankfurt Pavilion.

From 26 to 28 April 2019, the German-Norwegian literary festival “Towards Frankfurt” in Oslo will offer a preview of what’s to come. Over 90 writers from Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Norway will read from their books and discuss the themes they explore in their works. Never before have this many German-language authors come together in Norway at the same time.

Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and Andrzej Duda, President of the Republic of Poland, will officially open the German stand on 19 May.
