How do books find their way to the screen?

In September 2023, the second part of the successful children's book adaptation based on the book series of the same name by Christine Nöstlinger will be released in cinemas. The production company publicises it as \"Legendary, honest and funny\". Millions of readers are also familiar with the books.

At this book-to-screen event, we take a look behind the scenes:

Is a successful book the key to a successful film? What distinguishes a bestselling book from a good screenplay? How far can and should screenwriters stray from the book? How can the wit, charm and originality of the material be preserved? To what extent do book authors and filmmakers work together?

This event takes place in the framework of Frankfurter Buchesse's \"Book-to-Screen Day\".
