David Alexander Robertson

David A. Robertson is regarded as a bestselling author in Canada after publishing around 25 books and receiving several awards. He speaks with Lars von Törne (DER TAGESSPIEGEL) about his recently in Germany published children’s and YA books STRANGERS, book 1 of the Cole Harper trilogy (in English The Reckoner Trilogy; a YA series featuring an indigenous superhero, published in German at MERLIN VERLAG), as well as WHEN WE WERE ALONE (published in German at LITTLE TIGER VERLAG), a picture book (illustr. Julie Flett) about the injustice the First Nations had to experience in the so called “Residential Schools”. David A. Robertson is a member of Norway House Cree Nation. All of his books are about the culture and history of the First Nations, cultural empowerment and emancipation.
