Katja Deiß was born in 1979 and has been working as culture correspondent and editor for the ARD cultural magazine “title, thesen, temperamente”, for the TV channel ARTE and as a documentary maker. She studied journalism and theater science at the University of Munich and worked right afterwards as trainee at the Hesse’s Broadcasting. She focuses on social and social-political subjects relating to Literature, Arts and Music. Together with the Turkish journalist Can Dündar they produced “Die Story im Ersten” for the Prix Europa(opens in a new window)at Arte and the Documentary “Exile Deutschland – Goodbye to Turkey(opens in a new window)”
