Linus Guggenberger
Linus Guggenberger (*1987 in Stuttgart) studied literature, political science (and a minimum of law) in Konstanz, Berlin and Rome. Since 2017 he is director of the series of Spanish, Latin American and Italian authors at Klaus Wagenbach Verlag(opens in a new window) in Berlin. In 2019 he has been a fellow of the FIL Guadalajara 2019 and of the Editorxs Fair in Buenos Aires. He is co-editor of the anthology "Berlin. A literary invitation". At Wagenbach - independent publishing house since 1964 - he publishes the German translations of contemporary Spanish-language authors such as Martín Caparrós, María Gainza, Juan Marsé, Fernanda Melchor, Sara Mesa, Pola Oloixarac and also of classical authors such as José María Arguedas, Roberto Arlt, Miguel Delibes, Antonio Di Benedetto, Marvel Moreno and Manuel Vázquez Montalbán. From time to time he translates from Spanish.
