He has written in various genres, obtaining awards such as the Anagrama Prize for his essay „La ética de la crueldad“ (2012), the Alfaguara Prize for his novel „La invención del amor“ (2013) and the Juan Gil-Albert poetry prize for „Mujer lenta“ (2018). His last published work is „Insurrección“ (2019).
