Humor, Satire, Dystopia and Profundity (German)

In a cyber meeting between Berlin and Madrid, Marc-Uwe Kling and Niklas Maak will share with Isabel G. Adánez some of the key aspects of their latest novels, both dystopical and satirical in equal terms. In “Quality Land” (Kling, 2017 and 2002) and Technophoria (Maak, 2020) we find worlds, that are suspiciously similar to ours, but even more dominated by algorithms and smart technologies…and sometimes rather lacking in light. Both authors not only share a solid philosophical education and a great sense of humor but they also have a critical view on the current times where reality is often overcome by fiction.
