In this panel, moderated by Porter Anderson (Publishing Perspectives), Giulia Foscari (architect and founder of UNLESS), Lars Müller (founder of Lars Müller publisher) and Marco Cendron (founder of POMO) will have a conversation on Antarctic Resolution. Developed as a transnational and multidisciplinary effort, Antarctic Resolution was launched in the format of an encyclopaedic volume published by Lars Müller Publishers and authored by the 150 leading world Antarctic experts. The publication – the first holistic body of research ever produced on the territory South of the 60th parallel – was awarded the DAM Architectural Book Award 2021 by the Deutsches Architekturmuseum, the MGIP Book Award 2021 the Motovun Group and the Grand Prize for Innovative Collaborations by the European Commission initiative S+T+ARTS.

Antarctic Resolution was conceived by Giulia Foscari / UNLESS to catalyse global attention to one of our few Global Commons and create a constituency for our only continent without indigenous population, with the ambition of contributing to the protection of the Antarctic, and in turn, of our own species.

Moderator: Porter Anderson, Speakers: Giulia Foscari (Architect, Founder of UNLESS), Lars Müller (Publisher Lars Müller publishing house) and Marco Cendron (Creative Director & Founder, POMO)
