Translation in an Intercultural Context

On Monday, 21 March, from 4.15 – 5.15 pm, in the Translators Café at Bologna Children's Book Fair experts talk about translating children's books into different cultures. It is not only about processing the text into another language, but also transferring the level of illustration. The different realities of children's lives, such as environment, skin colour and religion, play a big role.
The event takes place in the frame of the European Project ALDUS UP.
