Alejandra Ramírez has been working as a translator and promoter of Scandinavian languages and literature since 2008. She completed postgraduate studies in translation at the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona and Ametli's Diploma in Literary and Humanistic Translation. She is Vice-President for External Liaison at Ametli and a member of the Organización Mexicana de Traductores. She has been a scholarship holder for the translators' programmes of the Gothenburg and Helsinki Book Fairs and the Norwegian Literature Festival in Lillehammer.
