Amelie Benn loved to write even as a child. She always imagined that one day she would get a visit from a unicorn. That hasn't happened yet, but magical creatures are still among her favorite subjects. After graduating from high school, she decided to go traveling for a while. So she hiked through the desert, swam in the Dead Sea and climbed the Himalayas. Today, the author lives with her family and four chickens near Stuttgart
