She is a commercial engineer from the Catholic University of Chile. In 2002 she founded Editorial Amanuta, where she has published more than 200 illustrated children's books on topics related to the cultural and natural heritage of Chile and the Americas. In 2023, Amanuta received the BOP Award (Best Publishing House Of The Year) for South America and the Caribbean, awarded by the Bologna Children's Book Fair.
