Anne Friebel

The focus of Anne Friebel's work has been in the development of feminist non-fiction. And as Founder and Publishing Director of Palomaa Publishing, she also established the network The Female Publisher - a free-to-join digital platform that connects and supports women publishers, program managers and decision makers within the German-speaking publishing market, encouraging discourse and exchange. 
As co-host of the podcast Die Bücher unserer Zukunft (Books of our Future), Anne is talking to innovative leaders about industry best practice and methods which address publishing's major challenges. 
In 2022, Anne was nominated for the Börsenblatt Young Excellence Award as well as for the Emotion Award for Gender Balance in Media and received the Saxon Publishing Prize. Furthermore, in 2024 Anne Friebel was awarded with the PublisHer Excellence Award in Innovation.
