Antonio Alonso holds a degree in journalism with numerous specialisations in different fields. He was Executive Director of Sociedad en Movimiento, AC, and at Casa de la Sal he founded Plan B para el Desarrollo, AC. He currently collaborates as Technical Secretary in AliaRSE ("Alianza por la Responsabilidad Social Empresarial en México") whose members are the country's business organisations.
He is General Director of the Cámara de la Industria Editorial Mexicana (CANIEM). In the educational field, he is the Academic Coordinator of the Diploma in Social Responsibility and Citizen Participation at the Universidad Intercontinental (UIC) and teaches at several universities.
