Christina Werum-Wang is the executive director of the Confucius Institute Frankfurt. From 1986-1994 she studied sinology, empirical cultural studies and linguistics in Tübingen, Chengdu and Beijing. Having assumed the management of the institute in 2011 she was delegated to the CDHAW at the Tongji University in Shanghai from 2017-2019, and returned to the institute in 2019. She is a sworn interpreter, a certified lecturer for Chinese and a certified cultural trainer.
