Isaac Rosa (Sevilla, 1974) is a journalist, novelist and playwright. He is author of the novels La malamemoria (1999); El vano ayer (2004), which won the Ojo Crítico Fiction Prize and the 14th Rómulo Gallegos Prize; ¡Otra maldita novela sobre la Guerra Civil! (2007); El país del miedo (2008) (The Land of Fear), José Manuel Lara Foundation Prize; La mano invisible (2011); La habitación oscura (2013), Feliz Final (2018); and Lugar seguro (2022), Biblioteca Breve Prize. They were all published by Seix Barral and have been translated into a number of languages. Three have been made into films.
