Jeff Deutsch is the director of the Seminary Co-op Bookstore and 57th Street Books, established in 1961 in Chicago, IL. The Seminary Co-op is the first not-for-profit bookstore in America whose mission is bookselling. Other than a two-year stint as a live-work artist at an artists’ colony, Jeff has spent his entire career in bookselling, including directorships at the Stanford and UC Berkeley bookstores.
