Literary critic and culture journalist. She was awarded a doctorate for a thesis about Ilse Aichinger and Günter Eich. She is the head of literary department at ORF-TV since 2008. She was awarded the Austrian State Prize for Literary Criticism in 2019. Currently, she is released from her duties at ORF, because she is the artistic director of the Austria's appearance at the Leipzig Book Fair 2023.
