Lothar Müller, born in Dortmund in 1954, is a freelance author. He was an editor of the "Feuilleton" section of the "Süddeutsche Zeitung" based in Berlin and has been Honorary Professor at the Humboldt University in Berlin since 2010. "Adrien Proust und sein Sohn Marcel. Beobachter der erkrankten Welt" (2021) is his most recent book.
