Founding partner of Santa Cruz IP, a strategic consultancy in the creation and development of new assets. For nine years he headed the National Institute of Industrial Property (INAPI) of Chile. In Geneva, he chaired the Standing Committee on Patents (SCP) and the Working Group of the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT). He participates in different international initiatives related to intellectual property.
