Minerva Salguero's background ranges from Visual Arts and Art History to the field of design and editorial production. In 2014 she founded Ediciones Manivela, a publishing company dedicated to print and digital publications around research and dissemination of the arts. In addition to her work in the publishing house, Salguero teaches courses and workshops focused on the professionalisation of visual artists. She is also a lecturer in the Masters in Cultural Management at the Universidad Iberoamericana and a doctoral student in the Postgraduate Programme in Art History at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM).
