Mrs Olena Zelenska was born on 6 February 1978 in Kryvyi Rih. In 2000, she graduated from Kryvyi Rih Technical University,majoring in "Urban and Construction Management". In 2003, she and Volodymyr Zelenskyy got married. She has been The First Lady of Ukraine since 2019. Her social activities before the war had four main directions: the health of future generations, equal opportunities, barrier-free environment and cultural diplomacy. Now she is also focusing on humanitarian aid. In May 2022, Olena Zelenska initiated the creation of the National Program of Mental Health and Psychosocial Support. The program is designed to help Ukrainians overcome the consequences of the traumatic events of the war.
