Olivier Guez, born in Strasbourg in 1974, is an author and journalist. He has worked for Le Monde, the New York Times and the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ), among others. He received the German Film Prize for the screenplay of "The State against Fritz Bauer". His novel "The Disappearance of Josef Mengele" (Aufbau, 2018) became an international bestseller and was on the Spiegel bestseller list in Germany for many weeks.
