Stefanie Gerhold is a translator and writer. She studied romance philology in Munich. For her many translations of prose and plays, she has been awarded the Spanish Embassy of Germany prize for translation twice, especially for her translations of Max Aub. She has published several essays and one audio-play. She also gives lectures and seminars on literary translation.
