Stefanie Höfler is a teacher and theatre pedagogue and lives with her family in a small town in the Black Forest. In addition to her novels for young people, she also writes children's books and picture books, and has been awarded numerous grants, the annual LUCHS from DIE ZEIT/Radio Bemen, and the Leipziger Lesekompass. Three of her novels, including Dance of the Deep Sea Jellyfish, were nominated for the DJLP.
