Svenja Gräfen, born in 1990 in Daun, Rhineland-Palatinate, writes prose, essays, and screenplays.
In 2019, Gräfen received the scholarship of the Stuttgart Writers' House, in 2018 the invitation to the Klagenfurt Literature Course and the Alfred Döblin Scholarship of the Academy of Arts Berlin. In 2017, the debut novel DAS RAUSCHEN IN UNSEREN KÖPFEN was published by Ullstein five. In 2019, the second novel FREIRAUM followed. Further publications include in the anthology FLEXEN: FLÂNEUSEN* SCHREIBEN STÄDTE (Verbrecher Verlag, 2019) and in Akzente 3/2019 BRIEFE AN DIE TÄTER (Carl Hanser Verlag, 2019).
