Vladimir Balzer, born 1974, is a journalist and a presenter at Deutschlandfunk Kultur. He read German Studies, Art History and Journalism at universities in Dublin, Venice and Leipzig. He started his career as a presenter, reporter and editor at Deutschlandradio and Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk (MDR). At Deutschlandfunk Kultur he presents the programmes ‘Fazit – Kultur vom Tage’ and ‘Im Gespräch’. He also works as a correspondent at Deutschlandradio’s central Berlin studios.
