Alexander Cuntz heads the Creative Economy Section of the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) based in Geneva. Before joining WIPO, he worked as a senior research consultant at the Federal Expert Commission for Research and Innovation (EFI) based in Berlin and as a research fellow at the European Commission based in Seville. Mr. Cuntz’s economic research focuses on creativity and the role of copyright as well as the impact of digitization. It has been published in leading academic journals and books. Mr. Cuntz holds a PhD in innovation economics from the Technical University of Berlin.
