Anke Oxenfarth

Before joining oekom in autumn 1999, Anke Oxenfarth gained practical experience in various newspaper, television and radio editorial offices as well as in a communications agency in Switzerland. Since 2002 she has been on the editorial board of the journal “politische ökologie” (“political ecology”). Since 2011 she has been head of the sustainability department at oekom verlag, where she has developed and coordinated the initiative “Green Publishing – New environmental standards for the publishing branch”. Founded in 1989, oekum is the leading publisher for sustainability topics in German-speaking countries. Its eleven journals, rapidly growing booklist, numerous brochures and online media bring together more than 2500 authors, cooperation partners and promotors of all groups of society.
