Ivan Fedechko

Ivan Fedechko is the rights sales manager for the Old Lion Publishing House. He has worked for the press since 2012, in which time it has grown from a small publisher of children's literature to one of Ukraine's biggest publishing houses and the largest exporter of Ukrainian works abroad. He has represented the publisher at international fairs and participated in programs in Bologna, Frankfurt, Guadalajara, Seoul, Taipei, and Tokyo. The books he's sold the rights to have been translated into over 50 languages. In 2023, Old Lion was awarded the Bologna Prize for the Best Children's Publishers of the Year. He studied Czech language and literature in Lviv and Slavonic literatures in Brno. He lives in Lviv with his wife, two small children, and cat.
