Latoya West-Blackwood is a publishing consultant, nonprofit leader and executive board member of PublisHER. Her work focuses on gender equality, social justice and literacy as tools for transformation and inclusive development.
She is the 2020 Yale School of Management International Publishing Leader Awardee (Book Publishing) in recognition of her work in the areas of access to education for underserved communities, research to support the production of culturally relevant materials for early grade readers and youth civic engagement through literacy.
