Madeline McIntosh is one of the cofounders of Authors Equity, Inc, and she is its CEO and Publisher. Authors Equity is a book publisher reshaping the relationship with authors and publishing talent; the company’s emphasis on profit sharing, flexibility, transparency and long-term collaboration has drawn a wide-ranging list of bestselling and emerging authors, with the first books coming to market in fall 2024. Additionally, Madeline serves as an Independent Director of Simon & Schuster and is President of the Board of Poets & Writers, a nonprofit. She is the former CEO of Penguin Random House US.
