Margaret Szymczyk

Margaret Szymczyk is the Rights Director at John Murray Press, part of Hachette UK, one of the leading trade publishing houses in the UK. She is responsible for rights strategy and development of their professional repertoire. She previously worked as the Global Translation Rights Manager at Springer Nature Group and Rights Executive at McGraw-Hill Education. She has an extensive experience in negotiating various type of rights licences for content in various formats across multiple imprints and vast repertoires throughout the world. She actively seeks new commercial opportunities for growth, expansion of products and/or customer base. Throughout her career she has been championing the value of licensing and rights, as a member and the former Chair of PLS Rights Management Group.
