Mohd Khair Ngadiron

Born in Muar, Johor, Mohd Khair has the experience of leading the Malaysian Institute of Books and Translations (ITBM) as the Managing Director / Chief Executive Officer for 11 years from December 2007 to October 2018.Mohd Khair is an expert of the industry and book marketing, both local and international. His best contributions are leading the Malaysian delegation in participating the Tokyo International Book fair as the Guest of Honor, and the same role at the Indonesia International Book fair and Riyadh International Book fair. Apart from that, he was also responsible for leading the affairs and tasks of promoting and marketing the works of Malaysian authors worldwide to United States of America, Russia, German, France, London, Taiwan, China, India, Singapore and Brunei. At the same time, the Malaysian literature and writing activities grew rapidly as more than 1000 books were published by ITBM to fill the needs and development of reading culture for individuals of all ages under Mohd Khair’s leadership. He is also the author of three books which are, Setulus Kata (2017) , A poetry Collection: Antara banyak Sinar, Entah Mengapa Bulan Juga Menawan Pandang (2019) and GRAB BLUES CEO Jadi Pemandu (2021). He is currently heading Malaysian National Book Council under Ministry of Education Malaysia.
