Hi! I’m Valeria, an official member of Generation X (although for my two teenage children I belong to the boomer generation). I have always loved interpersonal relationships to such an extent that I studied foreign languages at university because I couldn't stand the idea of language barriers, and I prefer relationships that go deeper than name and origin. 

Since I started working in 1998, apart from a few brief forays into the clothing industry, I have always worked in publishing. I have been with Erickson since 2010, and since 2014 I’m in charge of the foreign rights office. I feel privileged to represent books whose main purpose is to support teachers and parents in their educational efforts, and children too, especially those who struggle to learn!   

I love reading literary classics, fantasy, and detective stories. I like plants, even if I don't have much of a green thumb, and I have an addiction for jigsaw puzzles: if I start one, I can't stop until it is completed.   

In the PWB group I am always the one dispensing hugs and sweets.
