Use the stages and digital formats of Frankfurter Buchmesse to present your products, topics and events to an international audience. Every year, the diverse programme of events attracts media, industry experts and book fans from all over the world, offering you the unique opportunity to get more reach and visibility for your content.

Our event formats

Our Meet the Author area enables authors and visitors to meet in an indoor area of over 5,500 square metres. The historic Festhalle offers a unique ambience under its 29-metre-high glass dome.

On Friday (17 October), Frankfurter Buchmesse is cooperating with the Frankfurt City Library on a reading and participation day. Readings and workshops can be held in 16 district libraries. They are spread across the entire city (Bergen-Enkheim, Bornheim, Bockenheim, Dornbusch, Gallus, Griesheim, Höchst, Nieder-Eschbach, Niederrad, Nordweststadt, Rödelheim, Sachsenhausen, Schwanheim, Seckbach, Sindlingen and Sossenheim).
On Friday (17 October), Frankfurter Buchmesse is cooperating with the Frankfurt City Library on a reading and participation day. Readings and workshops can be held in 16 district libraries. The events can take place either in the morning or in the afternoon. Since the reading day falls within the Hessian autumn holidays, the libraries are especially looking to attract children’s groups to the events.
Activities that go beyond reading, such as workshops, are also possible.
Arrangements regarding the facilities, programme, available technology and equipment can be made in direct contact with the respective library.
Size: Depending on the size of the library, events can be held for audiences of 25 to 80 people.
Duration: By arrangement
Cost: The public library is happy to receive over 20 copies of the presented title for its library book collection.

The Frankfurt Studio Pop-up is a flexibly bookable area that becomes a stage for non-fiction and literature books at the weekend. From Wednesday to Friday lunchtime, the space can be booked for networking, matchmaking and receptions. With various groups of tables, it offers a relaxed but professional atmosphere for professional exchanges and new contacts.
The Frankfurt Studio Pop-up is a flexibly bookable area that becomes a stage for non-fiction and literature books at the weekend. From Wednesday to Friday lunchtime, the space can be booked for networking, matchmaking and receptions. With various groups of tables, it offers a relaxed but professional atmosphere for professional exchanges and new contacts.
From midday on Friday, the Frankfurt Studio Pop-up will be transformed into a small, intimate stage for inspiring talks and readings about non-fiction and literature books. Whether authors or experts - the focus here is on current topics and trends, presented in an approachable setting.

A submission process allows us to give all exhibitors the option to submit proposals to us, so that we can put together an interesting, varied and topical programme, in which all proposals are equally valued.
All exhibitors who has a suitable proposal can submit it. No one is automatically entitled to participate.

The submissions will be evaluated according to the topicality of the title, relevance to communication focal points/target groups and reach of the stage guests.
We try to get back to you or give you an answer promptly after receiving your submission (see schedule above).

Unfortunately, we will not be able to consider proposals that reach us after the specified submission deadline (see timetable).
Since the events can be held in German and/or in English, we ask you to submit your idea in one of these two languages.
Please refer to the overview above for the costs. Fees, travel and accommodation costs for artists, authors, presenters, publishing house staff, interpreters etc. as well as all other costs, such as tickets for the book fair, will not be covered by us.
You can cancel your booked slot at any time. To do so, please contact servicecenter@buchmesse.de in writing. In the event of cancellation before 25 July, 2025, a cancellation fee of 20 percent of the event price will be charged; from 25 July 2025, the cancellation fee will be 100 percent of the event price.

At the fair, people from more than 100 countries come together in a peaceful and secure environment. Frankfurter Buchmesse stands for diversity; it thrives on the variety and internationality of its exhibitors and visitors, as well as on the exchange among these in an open dialogue.
