Mangas & comics fans can look forward to lots of intricate costumes, an extraordinarily lively community and plenty of geek culture at Frankfurter Buchmesse 2024.

Raise your fan power level to over 9000 and immerse yourself in a weekend full of colourful mangas, comics and cosplay. From 18 to 20 October 2024, Frankfurter Buchmesse will once again be a meeting place for one of the most passionate and creative communities.
In addition to the latest mangas, comics and graphic novels from all over the world, you can look forward to professional talents, exciting community creations, a varied programme with stimulating workshops and, of course, the grand finale of the German Cosplay Championship.

By fans, for fans: Saturday and Sunday, discover the latest dōjinshis, fan comics and a large selection of hand-made merchandise in the Artist Alley in Hall 4.1.
Epic action, wacky adventures or perhaps a love story? Shop to your heart’s content at Altraverse, Carlsen, Cross Cult and other major comic publishers in Hall 3.
Look forward to an exciting programme all weekend on the stage in Hall 4.1, with well-known manga and comic artists, drawing workshops, live gaming sessions and tournaments.
Look out for upcoming cult hits at the publishers’ stands from Japan and Korea in the international halls.
Very young visitors can meet Ole Könnecke and Nikolaus Heidelbach – the creator duo of “Bedtime Stories for Celeste” – on stage from 10.00 on Sunday.
Meet your favourite characters on Sunday at the grand finale of the German Cosplay Championship in the Congress Center at Messe Frankfurt; plus, take part in cosplay workshops and events.
