Business services & networking at FBM24 - for exhibitors and visitors

Frankfurter Buchmesse brings the industry together in October: as a place for international encounters, a trading centre, a literary showcase and a platform for democratic exchange. With Frankfurt Connect, it also brings the players in publishing together digitally and bundles their digital business services in one place. Frankfurt Connect is based on the internationally proven ExpoPlatform technology for trade fairs such as IMEX Frankfurt.

These business services are available at the launch of Frankfurt Connect:

- New presentation and interaction options for exhibitors

- Networking features for, among other things, recommendations and suitable new contacts

- Digital business card for networking on site

- Interactive hall plan

The aim is to create a platform for the publishing community that connects people and facilitates new projects. To this end, all services are being further developed in interdisciplinary FBM teams using the agile working method. User feedback helps to continuously optimise Frankfurt Connect.

"What do we want at Frankfurter Buchmesse? We want to exchange ideas across national borders. We want to present our offerings. We want to revitalise old contacts and forge new business relationships. From now on, we will also support all these wishes digitally: with Frankfurt Connect as the digital backbone for our community," says Juergen Boos, Director of Frankfurter Buchmesse.

"We have reached the first milestone on our mission to extend our customers' trade fair presence into the digital world! From now on, we will continue to develop our platform together with our users. True to the motto: Frankfurt Connect connects", says Ann-Kristin Oestreicher, Senior Marketing Manager.
