Amalija Maček is a Slovenian literary translator from German (including F. Kafka, B. Brecht, J. Winkler, P. Handke, T. Mora, M. Pollack, I. Aichinger, M. Haushofer). Since 2001 she has been teaching at the Department of Translation Studies at the University of Ljubljana. She examined the estate of Alma M. Karlin.
