For the last three decades, Angélica Ramírez has worked as a translator of audiovisual products, books and research articles. She has done translations for dubbing, voice-over and subtitling of series, films and documentaries for Mexican television and Latin American pay channels. She currently subtitles videos for universities, cultural institutions and companies, as well as participating as a teacher in several virtual diploma courses. Angélica Ramírez is a member of the Asociación Mexicana de Traductores Literarios (Ametli), the American Translators Association (ATA) and the Organización Mexicana de Traductores (OMT).
