Ellin Carsta is a pseudonym for German author Petra Mattfeldt. She lives with her husband and their three children near Bremen. Mattfeld first gained popularity in the historical fiction genre under the name Caren Benedikt. Her novel series “The Secret Healer” and the Hansen Family Saga quickly reached bestseller lists, followed by the Falkenhagen series.
