Listening is reading: auditory learning / Inspire 15´

In a world marked by the impact of technology, orality and sound play a fundamental role in the promotion of culture. Reading and listening are nowadays two ways of enjoying literature, two complementary modalities that many people use, adapting them to their way of life. But do reading and listening to a book represent the same experience? Emma Rodero analyses the characteristics, advantages and disadvantages of these two modalities based on her studies carried out for the Media Psychology Lab of the Pompeu Fabra University (Barcelona).
